If I were Ferggie...

Tonight's Champions League tie against Olympic Marseille is tricky, despite the fact that the odds and history seems to favour United. SAF has to be very careful in the way the lads set out. the business at hand is not one that should be taken lightly, usually, when we score we seem to lax in our push. The boss should instruct the boys that we have to go for the kill right from the blast of the whistle. 'Oliver Twist', that's what we should be tonight.

About the team selection, I know Ferggie will be faced with this dilemma like he said during his press conference, pondering whether to start Valencia or to use him the way he did against Arsenal. If I were the gaffer, momentum will be my priority, I will set out early with Valencia on the right and Nani on the left, this two-some will be too much for Marseille to handle. It will also be wise to make Rooney play in the midfield, the way he did against Arsenal, with occasional bursts forward. Berbatov will start for me in attack with Chicarito to come on as a sub if Berba doesn't deliver, Berbatov is a little trickish in his football control and very incisive with his passes, especially on the one-two breaks. Rooney will be supported in the midfield by Carrick (If he is available) or Darron Gibson and O'shea ( The choice of O'shea is because a Rafael is prone to bursting forward and also reckless atimes with his tackles, I think O'shea will be of good help in times of trouble). Rafael (because of his pace and level of energy) will be among my back four which will include Vidic (if available) or Brown, Smalling and Evra.

Giggzy and Scholezy will be on the bench to read the game. If all doesn't go well they come on in the second half. Chicarito, Fabio and Evans (If available) will also be on the bench.

United can only loose if they don't set out properly or the gaffer gets it wrong with his selection. Like people say about Barcelona, I think it's only United that can beat United in this scenario they find themselves against Marseille. Confidence and Composure is key!
