Manchester United 2-1 Chelsea FC: Post-match reaction thread

On a glorious late afternoon at Old Trafford, Manchester United essentially clinched what will be their record 19th league title after defeating Chelsea FC 2-1; a feat that will enable the club to surpass rival Liverpool FC. It took just 36 seconds for Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez to put his side ahead after a sublime through ball from Park Ji-sung split open the Chelsea defense; the young Mexican striker clinically slid the ball past goalkeeper Peter Cech. Later in the 1st half, Nemanja Vidic headed home a 2nd goal for United after a Ryan Giggs cross; the goal from the skipper would prove to be the difference. After this tremendous title-winning day at the Theatre of Dreams, the focus now shifts to European ambition. With the domestic title all but won, United now await to clash with F.C. Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League final at Wembley on 28 May.

I'll have the tactical review up later today. In the mean time, have at it...
