Owen Hargreaves apparently has had a three hour medical with Manchester City and may be in line for a shock move to the noisy neighbors. Has the magic of YouTube earned him this stunning move? Judge for yourself:

Manchester United opted not to renew Hargreaves' contract over the summer. The club even turned down an offer from the midfielder to play for free. After coming over from Bayern Munich in 2007 for a £20 million fee, the former England international played a vital role in United's European double during the 2007-08 campaign. Since then though, it has been an injury-plagued nightmare for Hargreaves. He was last seen lasting just ten minutes against Wolves before limping off the pitch during the past campaign.
While being terrific during the 2007-08 season, that was also the last time Hargreaves played at a high level. One could seemingly be forgiven for being skeptical on where he would fit in the City midfield - even if he were to return to full fitness. The noisy neighbors offer the likes of Nigel De Jong, Yaya Toure, James Milner, and Gareth Barry for competition in the central midfield. Even though Toure will miss time in the winter while featuring for Ivory Coast in the African Cup of Nations, it is difficult to see Hargreaves playing much for City unless its the early stages of a domestic cup tie. Or perhaps ironically, he can provide cover if City is decimated by injury in midfield.
