Report: Robbie Brady set for a permanent move to Hull City

According to a report by Sky Sports, it appears that winger Robbie Brady will make a permanent move to Hull City. The 20-year-old had been on loan to the Championship side and after making 12 appearances, he returned back to Manchester United earlier this week. Apparently though, Tigers manager Steve Bruce was keen on bringing the Ireland international back and rather than return on loan, it looks as if the player may be transferred for a £2-million fee.

It's been an eventful past year or so for Brady as he finally made his first senior side appearance for United as a substitute versus Newcastle United in a League Cup tie. In addition, he has also began to establish himself into the Ireland national team. The winger is certainly a promising talent but he's not so much so that he had been tipped as a guarantee to become a regular first-team player at Old Trafford. If this deal is made, it's very possible that Brady could make a return to Old Trafford next season as Hull currently sit second in the Championship table -- the top two sides automatically earn promotion to the Premier League at season's end.
