BREAKING: Manchester United make amazing late €40m bid for Khedira

Manchester United have launched an incredible late bid for Real Madrid's Sami Khedira, according to Cadena COPE.

Manchester United have launched a sensational late move for Sami Khedira, according to Cadena COPE.

The source is the same that broke the news that Thiago would join Bayern Munich, and was also first to state that Ander Herrera would be the subject of a Manchester United bid, so there's every reason to believe they're right.

This would be a hugely surprising deal but a very promising one. Whether it's an insurance policy for Marouane Fellaini or Ander Herrera, over whom there are conflicting reports, we don't know, but he'd almost certainly be a perfect fit for United. The report states that Carlo Ancelotti wouldn't like to sell, but does not say the bid has been rejected, and of course it won't be his decision.

This could be about to be a crazy last few hours, with three deals looking to be in the pipeline at least. It's expected to go right to the wire, but we'll be here until the very end, so stay tuned for further updates.
