Andrei Kanchelskis

I have ot admit I have been looking forward to using Kanchelskis as the player of the day for a while. I was a huge fan of this player during his time at Old Trafford. He was lightning quick, great on the ball and could be devastating on his day. He signed for the club at the tail end of the 1990/1991 season He gave us great balance in a team that featured the young talents of Giggs and Sharp. And of course he scored a hat trick against City so he will always be a legend. He left under somewhat of a cloud as there were rumors of a bust up with Sir Alex as well as Russian mafia and other rumors as to why he left. Perhaps it was just time for him to move on as a young David Beckham was about to break into the first team. But while he was at United Kanchelskis was one of my favorites and he will live long in the memory for United supporters.
