Wolverhampton (19th EPL, 6pts.) have only won three games this year, two of which were in the Carling Cup.  As a matter of fact, since losing to Fulham on 11 Sept, they're 1-1-5 in all competitions.  This also marks the second time that Wolves have progressed to this point in the League Cup in 15 years.  Last season, Wolves came to Old Trafford in the 3rd round of the same competition and lost 1-0 on a Danny Welbeck strike in the 2nd half.

CARLING CUP RESULTS:
Rd.
3 at Scunthorpe United 5-2 vs Notts County 4-2
2 DNP vs Southend United 2-1

Manchester United are coming off of a week of pure madness, capped by Javier Hernandez's brace against Stoke to give United their first away win of the year.  It's unlikely any of Sunday's participants take very much of a part in Tuesday night's game, but it wouldn't surprise me to see Nani or Hernandez on the bench.  Michael Owen will want to build on the brace he scored against Scunthorpe and Fabio and Rafael will both look to get the starts.

Note: Consider this a work in progress. I'm still waiting on the bulk of the preview links, I'll update as I get them.
