Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in talks with Molde FK?

The Guardian is reporting that Norwegian side Molde FK is in talks with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that would see him returning to Molde, as their first team manager.  Molde have tried unsuccessfully to bring Ole in over the past several years, but his representitve was reportedly at Aker Stadium Sunday and Ole is to fly out there on Tuesday.

Ole spent 2 seasons at Molde making 42 appearances and scoring 31 goals, before moving to Old Trafford in 1996 for a fee of around £1.5m and famously scoring the stoppage time winner to secure the European Cup in 1999.  He retired as a player at the start of the 2007 season after several injury plagued seasons.  He has remained with Manchester United as both an ambassador and (now) reserves team coach.

If this is proves to be true, I'll be disappointed, but wish him the best of luck...I can understand his desire to move back to his homeland and his desire to become a first team manager.  Ole will always be a legend at Old Trafford and will never be forgotten:
