Manchester United will clash with rival Manchester City at Wembley in a FA Cup semi-final tie on either April 16 or 17. Despite having to start seven defenders in a quater-final tie versus Arsenal at Old Trafford due to numerous injuries, United were able to earn passage to the semi-final with a 2-0 victory over the Gunners on Saturday evening. City defeated Reading 1-0 at the Eastlands this evening in a quarter-final tie, thus setting up a derby semi-final. The two sides have met twice this season in Barclays Premier League play; a 0-0 draw at Eastlands and a 2-1 United victory at Old Trafford after Wayne Rooney's overhead wonder-strike proved to be the winner. As the iconic clock banner in the Stretford End reminds all, it's been 35 years since the 'noisy neighbors' have won a major trophy. This will be a massive match for them.
