It's the international break but transfer rumors and news that relate to Manchester United FC keep pouring in. Here are some links to keep you up to date on the happenings of the club:

Transfer Rumors

* Despite the reported 108.9-million-pound loss reported this week by United's parent company Red Football Joint Venture, the club apparently has a 165-million-pound transfer chest. Names such as Jack Rodwell, Ashley Young, Gareth Bale (be still my heart), Jordan Henderson, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Douglas Costa, Manuel Neuer, Mario Goetze, and Daniele De Rossi are being linked as possible arrivals to Old Trafford this summer. {Manchester Evening News}

* Neuer reportedly wants to win a Bundesliga title and may not want to leave Germany any time soon. The Germany No 1 is also rumored to be a target of Bayern Munich. {M.E.N}

* There are contradicting reports as to whether Shaktar Donetsk's Douglas Costa was visiting Old Trafford last weekend during the match versus Bolton Wanderers. This piece examines the possibility of Costa being the player to replace Paul Scholes. Sir Alex Ferguson has once labeled Costa as "probably the best young player in South America." {M.E.N}

* Is Roma's Daniele De Rossi, who is considered Roma through-and-through, ready to leave his club for Old Trafford? The 27-year-old Rossi reportedly is considering leaving the Serie A for Old Trafford. {The Telegraph}

* United's interest in goalkeeper Rene Adler has Bayer Leverkusen nervous. The German club would like to tie down their 'keeper to a new contract, but they appear to be accepting of the fact that Adler may leave if United come calling. {ESPN Soccernet}

* Graham Hunter examines whether or not if Atletico Madrid's 20-year-old David De Gea is ready to be United's next No 1 in replacing the soon to be retired Edwin van der Sar. {}

* FC Twente, the current Dutch champions, are prepared to act as a feeder club for United as United seek to obtain the services of promising South American talent. * Earlier reports of Rio Ferdinand missing the rest of the current season due to a calf injury may have been premature (shocking!). The 32-year-old defender has received treatment in Germany and he may return in time to contribute for this season's run in. {The Guardian}
