What a match. What a weekend. It was a weekend that saw Manchester City, Liverpool, and Arsenal all drop points. More importantly, it was a Sunday that saw Manchester United defeat Chelsea 3-1. Chris Smalling opened the scoring in the 8th minute when it was he who rose the highest to head in a goal. It was then Nani who hammered in the second on a cracking a finish. Finally, Wayne Rooney slid home a third goal just before halftime. Fernando Torres made things interesting at the start of the 2nd half but sloppy finishing, or more accurately, a lack of finishing was the story of the 2nd half for both sides. Each group of supporters likely had a laugh at the expense of the other side's poor finishing in the latter half. Nonetheless, it was the Reds who were full of smiles at the end. United are top of the table.
