It's happened. We reported earlier that West Ham were in talks to sign him, but it is now official. Ravel Morrison has moved to West Ham United. The boy has divided opinion among many United fans, and Fergie has had enough of him. West Ham have taken the gamble on the brilliantly talented attacker. Good luck to them and him.

It is a gamble because he has had too many brushed with the law. A gamble because he seems to have an ego that matches his undoubted talent. No doubt it is a blow to us, because we are the ones that have helped him thus far in his career, and to have lost him for an undisclosed fee, believed to be around the 1Million mark, could prove to be a big loss, considering West Ham could sell him on for major major money.

BBC Sport understands that there is no buy back clause either. Not that I could see him return anytime soon. Water under the bridge an all that.....

West Ham United have signed Manchester United's Ravel Morrison for an undisclosed fee.

The 18-year-old midfielder, who has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal, was the subject of a rejected bid from Newcastle United earlier in the month.

BBC Sport understands the deal does not include a buy-back option.

Anyway, life goes on. We saw that tonight, with the wonderful performance Paul Pogba put in. Ironically he also has had contract difficulties. Fergie needs to get that one wrapped up soon!
