Manchester United sit second in the table during the October international break but SB Nation's Premier League Power Rankings have them third.

The latest edition of SB Nation's Premier League Power Rankings are out and Manchester United sit third in the poll. Sir Alex Ferguson's side currently are second in the table -- joint second with Manchester City on points but ahead on goal differential -- but despite putting in their most impressive performance of the season last weekend away to Newcastle United, the general consensus has them behind Chelsea and the 'noisy neighbours'.

At season's beginning, most believed that the title would again be fought for between the two Manchester sides while the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and perhaps Newcastle would battle for the two remaining top four spots. Thus far though in this young campaign, Chelsea have surged to the top of the table and they are looking like genuine title-contenders alongside United and City. The battle for fourth appears to be between the two North London sides and Everton. Newcastle have yet to convince. For comic relief purposes, there has been LOLiverpool again this season.

In the comments section below, feel free to chime in with your thoughts on the Premier League's pecking order. Here is the ballot I submitted this week for the poll:

1. Chelsea

2. City

3. United

4. Everton

5. Spurs

6. Arsenal

7. Newcastle

8. West Bromwich Albion

9. Fulham
