Mark Hughes sacked by QPR, Harry Redknapp in

QPR sack Mark Hughes the day before tomorrow's visit to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United.

Just in case you haven't heard by now, Queens Park Rangers have sacked manager Mark Hughes. His replacement is expected to be Harry Redknapp, although he won't be managing the club tomorrow at Old Trafford -- he will probably be in the stands though. The timing is a bit odd -- as this occurred the day before tomorrow's match versus Manchester United and Hughes could have been relieved of his duties earlier in the week -- but it appears that the Ukraine's FA recent approach for Redknapp forced QPR's hand. Their owner, Tony Fernandes, has displayed extreme public support for Hughes as of late but that was baffling to say the least when one considers the financial backing the manager received and also when one examines the table and sees no wins from 12 league matches thus far this season. QPR could be a team in chaos tomorrow at Old Trafford -- let's hope so since we need the three points.
