Highlights: Wolverhampton Wanderers 0-5 Manchester United

It was a sluggish start by Manchester United -- perhaps that's partially explained after a midweek trip to Spain for the return leg of an intense tie with Athletic Bilbao in Europa League -- but the goals soon poured in for the Premier League leaders. In the 21st minute, Wayne Rooney's corner found Michael Carrick at the farpost who then touched the ball across the the goal for Jonny Evans to finish. Wolverhampton Wanderers right-back Ronald Zubar was sent off in the 42nd minute after his second rash challenge resulted in his second booking. Soon after, United went on a goalscoring run. Antonio Valencia scored the 2nd after Wayne Rooney released the winger into space on a counterattack. The third came just before halftime when Danny Welbeck coolly finished after combining with Evans and Valencia. In the 56th minute, Javier Hernandez (Chicharito) got in on the goalscoring when he headed home United's 4th goal after horrific defending by Wolves in the box. Chicharito then made it five for United minutes later. By this point, it felt like the goals would never stop coming and it was a surprise when no more were scored. The Red Devils now have a four point lead on title-contending rival Manchester, albeit with a game in hand. The 'noisy neighbours' next play at the midweek when they host Chelsea FC at the Etihad.
