Will Keane took his goalscoring tally to 16 for the Reserves after bagging four goals recently in a match versus Newcastle United's Reserves. The 19-year-old has impressed this season and he even made his senior debut in December when he came on as a substitute versus Blackburn Rovers. It appears that the U-21 England international may be set to go out on loan next season according to Reserves' manager Warren Joyce:
"Will's progressing the right way. He's a good finisher, the lad. I think he just needs a bit of toughening up. Next year, we'll possibly send him out on loan. He's got good potential."

Manchester United will have three top choices up front next season in Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck, and Javier Hernandez (Chicharito). However, it appears that Dimitar Berbatov already has one foot out of the door in search of more (and deserved) playing time while Michael Owen's continual injuries makes it fair to question whether he is deserving of a spot on the squad next season. In addition, it's possible that Federico Macheda may on his way to Portuguese side Benfica after rumors emerged a few days ago that he could be part of a deal that brings Nicolas Gaitan to Old Trafford next season. Because of these possibilities, United may be in the market for a fourth-choice striker. It appears though that Keane might not be that player as United is strongly considering sending him out on loan in search of regular playing time so that he can further his development.
