Nick Powell to Manchester United Now 100% Done

Following yesterday's story that Manchester United were in pole position to sign Crewe Alexandra's 18 year old midfielder Nick Powell, with a deal 90% done, the club have released a statement confirming that the young star in the making will move to Old Trafford on the 1st July for an undisclosed fee. The deal could amount in total from £5M to £8M, depending what outlet you believe. Here is some quotes from Sir Alex Ferguson & the player himself, from ManUtd.com

As I said yesterday, I really like the deal, and it continues are trend of recent years of buying young, quality players. While I don't think he will be ready for Premier League football just yet, he could feature for the club in cup competitions, or he could be sent out on loan, to a Championship club if a Premier League club does not decide to take a punt on him. But one thing is for sure. The boy certainly has talent!
