My favorite Manchester United highlight: "And Solskjaer has won it!"

I was recently asked what my favorite Manchester United highlight is and my response had no hesitation: "And Solskjaer has won it! (*)" As a teenager, I dreamed of being a professional football player and growing up in the Seattle region in the United States, I had little access to top-flight football. I used to purchase Peter Schmeichel goalkeeper gloves and I was always fascinated by the Eric Cantona VHS tapes that I collected. A coach of mine was a Ryan Giggs admirer and at team gatherings in the spring and summer of 1999, he would show up clips of the incredible treble season. Naturally, being an impressionable teenager, my fondness for United grew and that was the time I undeniably fell in love with the club. Ole Gunnar Soljkaer's winner at Camp Nou in the 1999 UEFA Champions League final was perhaps the pinnacle moment of that tremendous season. It is my own pinnacle MUFC highlight.

As supporters of the world's greatest football club, we've been blessed with so many incredible memories. The Premier League era itself has brought about 12 league titles in 20 seasons, 4 FA Cups, and 2 European Cups. These triumphs have sprung from countless legendary moments: Steve Bruce's goal versus Sheffield Wednesday to win the first title in 26 years, Eric Cantona's cheeky chip and sublime celebration versus Sunderland, Giggs' slalom run through nearly Arsenal's entire side in the 1999 FA Cup semi-final replay, Paul Scholes' screamer in the return leg at Old Trafford versus Barcelona in the 2008 UEFA Champions League semi-final, and so many more. And quite obviously, there's the incredible Matt Busby era for the fans who've supported the club since that time. What is your favorite MUFC memory and why?
