Moments after Manchester United's 2-1 defeat of Newcastle United in Round 3 of the Capital One Cup, it was revealed that Sir Alex Ferguson's side will be taking on Chelsea FC at Stamford Bridge in the next round of the competition. The exact details of the fixture have yet to be revealed but it will commence on the week of October 29. The Blues advanced yesterday after their 6-0 thrashing of Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Don't expect Sir Alex to name a strong side for this tie because it's sandwiched in between a Premier League trip away to, ironically, Chelsea on Sunday October 28 and home to Arsenal on Saturday November 3. The sort of players that will feature for this match may be somewhat similar as to those that featured today: a mix of youngsters, first-team players in need of a game, and players recovering from injury or illness. Expect a similar approach from Chelsea as well.
