Announcement: The Busby Babe will be undergoing an exciting renovation

As many regular and longtime readers are possibly aware, I've undergone some family hardships in the past nine months but my passion for Manchester United and The Busby Babe has never wavered. If anything, this community is exactly what I've needed at times. I appreciate the kind words many of you have expressed -- much more than you likely realize -- on the comments section here, on Twitter, and on Facebook. Unfortunately, these circumstances have taken me away from this site at times but time willing, I'll be here as much as I can to contribute to this site -- and further help it grow.

It's with great pleasure that I unveil the first step in the next evolution of The Busby Babe. In the next month SB Nation -- the network with we're grateful to be affiliated with -- will be undergoing a dramatic upgrade to our platform and our editorial process. There will be much more detail to come but for now, the logo change is just a first taste of what is coming for TBB.

This is a small, but important sample of what is coming when our network undergoes its most exciting and radical transformation in the eight-year history of SB Nation. A new visual identity here and across the network is only one step we are taking to unite the network of so many tremendous sites -- not only footballing ones. United through individuality is the underlying theme of this project. You'll notice that our team colors and unique spirit of our individual community is maintained while making it clear to sports fans that each site is a part of the larger SB Nation network. We want everyone to know that they can find the same type of great writing and conversation that we offer here on all of our 350+ sites. If you happen to be curious, you can browse through all of the new logos on a special page we put together at sbnation.com/united. If you have other sporting interests and are looking for a site to follow in regards to it, chances are SB Nation has you covered.

Our commitment to passionately follow football and other sports will never end. It's what makes SB Nation a uniquely special place and that will only be enhanced by these new changes.
