Adnan Januzaj has signed a new five-year contract with Manchester United, ending speculation over his future.
Many had feared that a repeat of the Paul Pogba situation would occur, but Januzaj has decided to considerably extend his stay at United by agreeing on a deal which extends until 2018.
"I've always felt this was the right club", said the Belgian to the club's official website after putting pen to paper. "It's like a dream. I want to work hard now and establish myself as a Manchester United player."
David Moyes added: "Adnan's an outstanding talent. His balance, poise, and ability to beat players is exceptional. It's great he recognises this club, with its tradition of developing young players, is the best place to be."
Now that we've drawn a line under that saga, we have a potentially outstanding player tied up for the foreseeable future. Hopefully, we can now move on to securing some additional players in January, but this is the best news to come out of the club for some time.
