Adnan Januzaj will sign a new contract at Manchester United to extend his stay at Old Trafford and end the speculation over his future, according to a report on Sky Sports News.
The Belgian has been in the news lately not only for his superb match-winning performance against Sunderland, but also due to uncertainty over his future at both club and international level. As well as being courted by a number of national sides, the youngster's contract at United also expires at the end of this season.
That had led to speculation that a repeat of the Paul Pogba situation would occur, with Juventus and Manchester City among the clubs rumoured to be lining up a swoop for the playmaker.
But now, reports suggest that Januzaj has told Belgium manager Marc Wilmots that he intends to stay at Old Trafford, and will sign a new contract.
The youngster also reportedly turned down the chance to represent Belgium at international level in the meeting with Wilmots, but the news concerning his club career will be hugely welcome among the United fans and staff.
