Javier Hernandez replaces Robin van Persie, Marouane Fellaini replaces Michael Carrick, and Chris Smalling replaces Rafael in a changed Manchester United lineup to take on Cardiff City in Wales.
Rafael and Robin van Persie are the big absences, with Smalling making up a back four with Evra, Evans and Ferdinand, and Javier Hernandez spearheading the attack in front of an attacking three of Rooney, Januzaj, and Hernandez.
In midfield, Fellaini and Cleverley are chosen as the double pivot. One positive is that Danny Welbeck is on the bench (he had been injured and a doubt) and Adnan Januzaj is in the starting lineup, where he belongs. Whether the other replacements work out, we'll have to see.

Subs: Lindegaard, Büttner, Anderson, Giggs, Nani, Young, Welbeck.
