Manchester United's problems are about to get even worse - we now have six players ruled out of tomorrow's visit to Aston Villa.
Robin van Persie was a high-profile injury, and Michael Carrick we already knew about too. However, we can now add Patrice Evra (knock), Nemanja Vidic (knock), Marouane Fellaini (back) and Chris Smalling (thigh) to that list.
I'm not inclined to believe the babblings of people like Raymond Verheijen when claiming that Moyes' training regime is inflicting injuries on our players, but.. Patrice Evra? Injured? I didn't even think that was possible. When was the last time that happened?
For Villa, this means we'll either have to play Rio Ferdinand in defence or play a midfield two from Tom Cleverley, Ryan Giggs and Anderson. Neither sound particularly fun - particularly with the prospect of seeing Rio's old bones up against Christian Benteke and Andreas Weimann.
It's easy to say Moyes 'can't afford' another defeat, but we thought that before the last two league games too. Let's hope this doesn't end up another disaster...
