Manchester United will face Swansea City at Old Trafford, today's FA Cup draw confirms.
The Third Round sees Premier League clups enter the competition, and United will get their competition started with a home tie, albeit against a potentially tricky Premier League side.
The highlight of the round will be Arsenal facing Tottenham in the competition, so United have a comparatively simple task compared to that - and we avoided any really horrible ties for Moyes like, say, Leeds, where there's nothing to be gained and everything to be lost.
The game has not been scheduled yet but will be played the weekend of January 4th/5th. While we have, well, more pressing issues at the moment, it's also true that it's an age since we won the FA Cup. And hey, we might need another route into Europe for next season. The normal one is proving more difficult to navigate than usual.
