Vote for Manchester United's goal of the season

Robin van Persie's stoppage time winner at the Etihad, his volley against Aston Villa, or Rafael's rocket at QPR -- which is Manchester United's goal of the year?

Michael Regan

Across four competitions, in 54 games, Manchester United scored 116 goals this season. A few of them certainly stood out from the others.

On February 23, at Loftus Road in a Premier League match against Queens Park Rangers, Rafael unleashed this rocket:

In terms of absolute quality, Robin van Persie's sensational volley from a majestic Wayne Rooney 50-yard pass against Aston Villa -- on the night United clinched the title -- is the only goal from this season that rivals Rafael's.

Our third candidate for goal of the season probably doesn't match the prior two in terms of quality. However, RvP's stoppage-time winner at the Etihad was the most dramatic one of the season and perhaps the most important one as well. This goal signifies most the taking of the title back from the 'noisy neighbours'.

Which of these three wonderful strikes should be Manchester United's goal of the season? Be sure to vote in the poll below.
