Is it possible that Wayne Rooney and David Luiz will be teaming up together next season at Chelsea? Or even at PSG?

It's quite clear, from the discussions on this community, and from conversing with Manchester United supporters on Twitter, that the subject of Wayne Rooney divides opinion. There are those who still love him unconditionally and feel that the striker can still be a world-class player when properly motivated and fit, and these supporters generally want him to stay this summer. On the other side of the spectrum, there are those who are fed up his inconsistent performances -- which further causes anger because there are concerns about his professionalism -- and want him to leave after requesting two transfers in the span of three seasons*. Somewhere in the middle, there also those who are appreciative of Rooney's massive past contributions to the club, however, due to his dwindling form these past few years and his perhaps increasingly untenable standing, this might be a good time for him to go.

* It should noted that the Rooney camp apparently denies Sir Alex Ferguson's claim that the former talisman asked for a transfer at season's end.

Recent reports suggest that Rooney and David Moyes will hold meetings this week and after that, the new United manager will decide which direction he'll go with the player he once managed at Everton. What do you think the Scot should do? Be sure express your opinion in our poll below and we encourage you to elaborate in the comments section.
