Manchester United starting XI versus A-League All-Stars & Open Thread

Manchester United starting XI: Anders Lindegaard, Rafael, Phil Jones, Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra, Wilfried Zaha, Michael Carrick, Tom Cleverley, Ryan Giggs, Jesse Lingard, Danny Welbeck.

No real surprises for a relatively small squad. One of Ben Amos or first-choice David de Gea could spell Lindegaard in the 2nd half, but the Dane could quite easily get the full match. Lingard is an exciting inclusion and after Adnan Janujaz's man of the match performance in Bangkok, he'd obviously be fun to see at some point as well. There's also the electrifying Zaha that not every United supporter has seen yet. Perhaps Robin van Persie, United's talisman, will make an appearance as well after joining the club on tour this week. And then for the romantics, especially for those of you in person in Sydney, there's the legendary Giggs. Enjoy.
