Ashley Young makes a surprising start for Manchester United at Anfield against Liverpool as David Moyes makes two changes from last time.

Wayne Rooney is also absent with a freak injury, with Ryan Giggs coming in in his stead. Javier Hernandez makes his return to the bench, but Shinji Kagawa is missing from the team entirely. Antonio Valencia loses his place to Young, while the rest of the line-up remains the same, Tom Cleverley partnering Michael Carrick in central midfield (perhaps the last time that'll ever happen if Moyes has his way in the next 48 hours...)

Manchester United starting line-up: David de Gea, Phil Jones, Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra, Michael Carrick, Ryan Giggs, Tom Cleverley, Ashley Young, Robin van Persie, Danny Welbeck.

Subs: Lindegaard, Smalling, Buttner, Anderson, Nani, Valencia, Hernandez.

Liverpool starting line-up: Simon Mignolet, Glen Johnson, Jose Enrique, Daniel Agger, Martin Skrtel, Lucas, Jordan Henderson, Steven Gerrard, Philippe Coutinho, Iago Aspas, Daniel Sturridge.
