Wilfried Zaha will have to move on loan to Everton if Manchester United want to tie up a deal for Marouane Fellaini, according to the Mirror.
Everton have reportedly demanded the winger as part of any deal for the Belgian midfielder as United try and wrap up some midfield signings on deadline day.
Having secured James McCarthy, as well as bought other players and not made any sales, Everton probably need to sell, so I'm sure their hand could be forced. Zaha looked hugely impressive on pre-season but he's been left out of United's Premier League games, and whether it's down to a rumoured knock or because David Moyes doesn't like him, we don't know. Fabio got picked in pre-season plenty too, and hasn't gotten a kick despite defensive injuries.
This seems like a bad idea if Everton can be convinced otherwise. While we're all eager to get signings done, we should really be telling Everton to get lost here. An alternative suggestion by the Mirror is a loan for Jesse Lingard instead, which could theoretically be good for all parties, although he'd be far from guaranteed to get game time.
