Marouane Fellaini's proposed transfer to Manchester United is looking suddenly less likely as the clubs struggle to agree a fee.
The Guardian report that Everton value Fellaini at over £25m, with a bid in excess of this from United maybe not even being enough.
That seems to be a ridiculous fee for the player, and it could be linked to Everton's move for their supposed replacement, Fernando, looking in some doubt. The move, which seemed all but certain, now may struggle to go ahead.
Things are beginning to get late in the day, so United are leaving things very late. What looked like it was going to be a very good window at lunchtime is suddenly looking a bit darker. There's still a lot of time left though, and we'll post any further updates when we get them.
