Marouane Fellaini could be on his way to sign a deal with Manchester United after leaving Everton's training ground after reportedly meeting with Roberto Martinez.
Sky Sports News reported that the Belgian midfielder left Everton's training ground at speed, around an hour after arriving, and a move could be very close. United are reported to be aware of Everton's valuation of the midfielder, and could be prepared to meet it after being determined to reinforce their midfield this season, a long-running weak spot in the team throughout the latter-year Alex Ferguson era.
The station also said that 'positive' signs were coming from Spain regarding the signing of Ander Herrera. It's been a day of many, many false dawns, and we'll hope that this isn't the next in a long line of them. We'll be here until the bitter end, so stay tuned for any developments. As it stands, both deals are still very much in play.
