Confirmed: Marouane Fellaini is a Manchester United player

Marouane Fellaini has joined Manchester United after a rather disappointing window in which the Everton midfielder is our sole acquisition.

Marouane Fellaini has signed for Manchester United from Everton after a complete disaster of a window.

The Belgian, while a fine player in his own right and we wish him well etc, is our only acquisition of the window after we seemingly decided a couple of extra million was too much to pay for Ander Herrera.

It's a woefully inadequate window - we might still have the same squad as last year, but everybody else has strengthened hugely except us. It'll be a tough task to make this a good season now, even if we have a change of heart and spend big in January.

That's a tremendous amount of completely needless pressure put on both Fellaini and David Moyes now - and we are also, post-Anfield, playing badly. Things are looking quite grim, all told. We like Fellaini, and we hope he does well - we just wished we could've signed him on better terms than this.
