Manchester United's representatives in Spain to seal the Ander Herrera deal were impostors, according to Sky Sports News, with the club perhaps not as close as suggested to wrapping up the deal.
AS reported that United simply pulled out of the deal, and that seems to perhaps be the most likely after the reports proved to be erroneous.
Let's be honest: this window has been a catastrophe of epic proportions for which everybody involved should be sacked. David Moyes has been well and truly sold up the river here, and while there's still time to get Marouane Fellaini, it looks quite likely that we'll end up with absolutely no-one, which is, quite frankly, a disgraceful state of affairs.
The worst is that it simply sets a bad mood over the club. Good luck picking yourselves up after this lads, now you know that you're run by incompetent clowns. January can't come soon enough, if we had any faith we'd get a deal done for anyone.
