The forward comes into the side behind Danny Welbeck, who continues up front where he has prospered in recent games. Adnan Januzaj also starts on the left, with Antonio Valencia on the right, while Michael Carrick is preferred to Darren Fletcher to partner Tom Cleverley in midfield.

Nemanja Vidic and Jonny Evans comprise the centre-back pairing, while Rafael is still absent with Chris Smalling at right-back. Alexander Buttner is on the bench rather than Fabio, with Shinji Kagawa also among the subs.
