Manchester United manager David Moyes has been charged with misconduct after comments he made in the aftermath of Tuesday's League Cup semi-final first leg defeat to Sunderland.
Conveniently glossing over the fact his side had put in one of their worst performances of the season in the 2-1 loss, Moyes looked to shift the blame onto the referee, saying:
"We're actually beginning to laugh at them, that's the thing. It's really terrible, it really is. We're having to play them as well as the opposition at the moment."
The FA have since charged Moyes with misconduct, posting in a statement:
"It is alleged the comments called into question the integrity of the match officials appointed to that fixture and/or appointed to Manchester United fixtures generally, and/or implied that such match officials are motivated by bias; and/or brought the game into disrepute, in contravention of Rule E3(1)."
Moyes has until 6pm on Wednesday to respond to the charge.
