Introducing... The Busby Babe Sporcle League

Since there's nothing else of interest going on today, we thought it might be the right time to introduce a new feature on The Busby Babe: The Busby Babe Sporcle League.

If you're not familiar with Sporcle, it's an afternoon-wasting quiz website, but every fortnight on Thursdays (this may change next year owing to Europa League broadcasting) we'll be posting a new Sporcle quiz for you to take.

Simply fill in your commenter name after completing the quiz on the site, and we'll keep a results tally from week to week. 100% gets you 100 points, 50% gets you 50 points, and so on.

With United looking set to break their club transfer record, the first one is on historical transfer records from United. It's very much a quickfire one to start us off, with a three-minute time limit since it's not a particularly difficult one. See how you get on, and remember to post your score in the comments.

What would be even easier is if everybody signs up to Sporcle - which takes two seconds - under the name they use to post here and adds 'thebusbybabe' as a friend, so if you're interested in taking part, please go and do that. It would make things much simpler and reduce the possibility of cheating.

Also bear in mind that cheating on Sporcle quizzes is, by modern etiquette, considered a crime against humanity and is punishable by death. This is supposed to be fun. Don't ruin it.
