Moyes in Germany as Manchester United seek more January buys

David Moyes will watch Bayern Munich face Borussia Monchengladbach tonight as Manchester United continue to look for ways to strengthen their squad in January.

The two most likely targets are Bayern's Dante, but more likely Gladbach's winger Patrick Hermann, who had been linked with a January move to Old Trafford in the press recently.

It looks like Juan Mata may well not be our only signing of the January window, and the club are at least looking at getting other names in. Hermann was linked in the Daily Mirror recently, and there's no doubt we could probably use some strengthening on the wings, although that raises the question of where exactly Moyes plans to use Juan Mata if that deal goes through.

Of course, it's also possible there could be some other target we're not yet aware of. The game is live on BT Sport 1 tonight, although we are also still expecting the Mata deal to be concluded at any moment.
