Tottenham Hotspur reportedly one of three clubs in for Manchester United striker

According to an ESPN journalist, there are three clubs currently in pursuit of United striker Javier Hernández.

Javier Hernández's departure from Manchester United is, alas, looking increasingly inevitable, with three high-profile teams reportedly in for the Mexican striker.

ESPN's Diego Cora -- who earlier suggested that Chicharito was certainly heading for Monaco -- has since reported that Tottenham Hotspur and Atlético Madrid are also in the race to sign the 25-year-old:

Unsurprisingly they're three very good clubs, with Hernández having proven himself to be a very good goalscorer at United since joining from hometown club Guadalajara back in 2010. However, his lack of contribution to all-round play has seen him never really establish himself as a first-team starter, and now it looks like he'll be moving on.

It'll be a shame to see him depart, though he'll certainly excel at a club which can accommodate him better than United can.
