Rejoice! We'll soon be seeing Ashley Young back in a Manchester United shirt. The winger, who bizarrely looked like Dani Alves for a few games during pre-season, hadn't played since picking up a groin injury in August, though he is now back in training and a return to first-team action is imminent.
Of course, it's not likely that we'll be seeing him actually starting games, especially with Louis van Gaal having switched from the 3-5-2 he used in training to a 4-4-2 diamond formation over the last few games. Then again, our Iron Tulip did play Antonio Valencia in a hybrid central midfield/wing role against Everton on the weekend, so anything seems possible.
Young's return is hopefully just one of many, with van Gaal apparently expecting four more players to return to action after the international break. Michael Carrick, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Jesse Lingard, Jonny Evans and Anderson (stop laughing at the back) could soon be back available for selection.
