They way things have been going for Manchester United, it was only a matter of time before Ángel di María succumbed to injuryitis. Sure enough, he's limped out of today's match at home to Hull City after just 10 minutes, with what looked to be some kind of hamstring tweak. Apparently this is the Reds' 41st injury of the season.
The good news is that he was able to walk off the field himself, and initially he tried to run it off. Hopefully that means it's a matter of days rather than weeks or months. The other good news is that Ander Herrera has been brought on to replace him, so he's now got a chance to show that he's over his recent injury troubles.
As it stands, United are 1-0 up, with Chris Smalling having netted a pretty scrappy opening goal within a few minutes of di María leaving the field.
