Marouane Fellaini makes a start for Manchester United as they take on Crystal Palace.

The Belgian partners Michael Carrick in midfield, with Juan Mata, Wayne Rooney and Adnan Januzaj in an attacking band of three. Robin van Persie starts up front, although sadly Rafael is not in the squad, with Chris Smalling coming in at right-back.

There's still no Jonny Evans, so Rio Ferdinand partners Nemanja Vidic in central defence. Which is a bit of a worry considering we have no defenders of any description on the bench. What price a Valencia-at-RB cameo?

Manchester United starting lineup: David De Gea; Chris Smalling, Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra; Michael Carrick, Marouane Fellaini; Juan Mata, Wayne Rooney, Adnan Januzaj; Robin van Persie.

Subs: Anders Lindegaard, Antonio Valencia, Darren Fletcher, Ryan Giggs, Shinji Kagawa, Ashley Young, Javier Hernandez.

Crystal Palace starting lineup: Speroni, Ward, Dann, Delaney, Parr, Puncheon, Jedinak, Ledley, Ince, Chamakh, Murray. Subs: Hennessey, Gabbidon, Dikgacoi, Bannan, Bolasie, Gayle, Jerome.
