Diego Simeone is believed to be among the frontrunners to replace David Moyes at Manchester United, and he was duly asked about the position in his press conference earlier today.
Unfortunately, the man was reluctant to give too much away, simply stating:
"With all due respect, I understand the situation but it's a very important match for us tomorrow. I am not focused on anything that is not my own players or Chelsea."
Things could be moving very quickly. Simeone is likely to lose his best player at the end of the season at the very least, and he could well jump at the chance to move to a club where that's not going to be an issue and he has a chance to build something with fewer distractions. Although with his club in a very tense title challenge and facing a Champions League semi-final, he's probably right not to worry about it too much right now.
