Another day, another rumour linking Arturo Vidal with Manchester United. Though this seems to be a pretty significant one. Chilean newspaper El Mercurio is today leading with the story that the midfielder has a "verbal agreement" with the Red Devils ahead of a £47 million move:

The article echoes what was recently reported by Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, with Vidal's agent Fernando Felicevich having apparently met with bianconeri big cheeses to discuss his client's potential move. Like Gazzetta, El Mercurio report that Vidal will sign a four-year deal at Old Trafford, and will be on a £120,000 weekly wage.
Should the reports be true, Vidal would become United's record transfer, smashing the £37.1m that the Red Devils forked out to sign Juan Mata in January.
