Di Maria the first of THREE new Manchester United signings in seven days?

Angel di Maria looks almost certain to complete a transfer to Manchester United, and the good news might not end there. It appears he could be the first of three new signings, if an ESPN journalist is to be believed.

Alex Shaw, of ESPN and formerly of the Sunday People, who is likely going off other ESPN-based staff, made the claim on Twitter:

Angel Di Maria's arrival is, United hope, the first of three players in 7 days. Details soon.

So, perhaps more to celebrate soon.. The big disclaimer there is "United hope", of course. And no word on who it might be - it could be Mehdi Benatia and Arturo Vidal. It might be Dirk Kuyt and Daley Blind. We can only wait and see, provided the Di Maria transfer hasn't made us all blind by that point.

It probably won't be Mehdi Benatia and Arturo Vidal.
