Manchester United decided to host a 'kit day', inviting people to wear their United kit wherever they were and send in photos. What could possibly go wrong?

Manchester United's Twitter account is normally some right swill and no mistake, only outdone by the relentless drivel of MUTV. But they struck accidental comedy gold recently when proposing "#MUFCKitDay", inviting people to wear their United strip at work, or wherever they were that day and send in the results.

So, how about that? That kit has now been involved in two of the most iconic moments in the club's history.
