Manchester United's failure to officially confirm the signature of Radamel Falcao on a season-long loan prior to the close of the transfer window has led to all manner of speculation regarding the outcome of the Colombian's medical. Former Arsenal striker and current Sky Sports commentator Alan Smith tweeted the following:
Hearing Falcao has failed a medical. Could it affect Welbeck deal to Arsenal?

However, the good news is that Falcao probably hasn't failed his medical. United have reportedly asked for an extension in order to complete the deal, which you wouldn't imagine they'd do if the medical had shown up any serious issues. What's more, a denial of any failed medical has been put out by the United hierarchy:

Instead, they're just sorting out the paperwork, and waiting on news of Danny Welbeck's transfer to Arsenal:
United have been granted extra time to file the paperwork, much like Arsenal with Welbeck. The two go hand in hand #mufc #afc
