With United dropping more points away at Stoke today, it hasn't been a great start to 2015. However, Radamel Falcao has reason to be a little more pleased, having netted his third Premier League goal in the draw away at the Britannia. According to reports in Spain, the Colombian forward has done enough to persuade the Reds to sign the Monaco loanee on a permanent deal:

A fee of €50 million was inserted into Falcao's loan move in the summer, and according to Marca, it will be activated with the approval of Louis van Gaal. Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev reportedly met up with Falcao's agent Jorge Mendes to get the transfer process moving. If his promising recent performances are anything to go by, this is good news for United.
