So United's win at Yeovil was an ugly encounter in which Louis van Gaal's side scarcely looked any better than their third-tier hosts, but at least we got through it with any injury problems! Right?!
... right?!
Louis van Gaal here in press conference says Rafael da Silva has a fractured cheekbone and Luke Shaw has ankle injury #mufc

@wardy25uk im ok mate thanks should do operation soon

Eek.
That is pretty bad news, with United now having a full-blown crisis at full-back. Shaw and Rafael had only just returned from injuries, with Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young having filled in while they've been absent. But now they're both likely to be sidelined for a while longer, and Young isn't going to be around to cover for a few weeks after picking up an injury against Aston Villa.
That means we're going to have a makeshift left-back playing for the next few weeks, and it could, as against Yeovil, force van Gaal into a change from his back three to a back four, unless he tries Adnan Januzaj out on the left. The injury crisis is showing no sign of abating.
