Juventus central defender Daniele Rugani has been linked with Arsenal and Manchester United, according to the Mirror. Now, let's have a think, if Arsene Wenger wants to buy a defender then there's a 99% chance that he is absolutely terrible. Avoid.

In the Manchester Evenings News, Louis van Gaal has said United are having a 'lousy period' with injuries, and are going to struggle to have Phil Jones or Ander Herrera ready for the midweek Champions League game at home to PSV Eindhoven. The injuries are racking up now. If United can scrape their way into the knockout stages and be in touch of the top of the table by winter, then a signing or two could make a serious difference.

And in the Telegraph transfer rumours, there's some news on that front. Saido Berahino has been linked as a potential January signing, but the bigger story is that Van Gaal has openly discussed the possibility of a return from Real Madrid for Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo is reportedly on his way at the end of the season, already sick of the dreadful Rafa Benitez. It could happen, but PSG are interested too. Arjen Robben is also mentioned as a potential target.

In there are more rumours over potential winter reinforcements: Fabio Coentrao, Lucas Digne, Aaron Cresswell and Ashley Cole are all potential signings, apparently. There you go then. Bye.
